In Kafr El-Dawar, wo der Film gedreht wurde, sind alle Kinos abgerissen worden, sagt die Mutter des jungen Protagonisten, der darauf antwortet: Trotzdem heiße eine Straße immer noch »Cinema Street« – die Straße, die an ihrem Ende zum Bahnhof führt.
