Der Studienschwerpunkt »Film« sieht sich in der Tradition des künstlerischen Autorenfilms. Studienziel ist die Entwicklung künstlerischer Arbeiten, die ihre Stärke in der Fähigkeit zur selbstständig-gestalterischen Innovation besitzen. Im Vordergrund steht das gemeinsame Experimentieren, das den freien und eigensinnigen Zugang in allen Facetten filmischer Kommunikation und Interaktion sucht.

Filmisches Handwerk, künstlerische Ansätze und Filmästhetik –innerhalb dieses Spannungsfeldes bewegt sich der Studiengang Film & Media Arts. Als erster genuiner Filmstudiengang Schleswig-Holsteins wurde er im Herbst 2022 gegründet und deckt eine große Bandbreite filmischer Formen ab: Fiktionale und dokumentarische Formate, Animation sowie Werbe- und Imagefilm finden hier genau wie freie und experimentelle Zugänge ihren Platz.

The area of studies »Film« sees itself in the tradition of artistic auteur film. The aim of the program is to develop artistic works that have their strength in the ability for independent creative innovation. The focus is on joint experimentation that seeks a free and idiosyncratic approach in all facets of film communication and interaction.
Flensburg University Of Applied Sciences
Cinematic craftsmanship, artistic approaches, and film aesthetics–the Film & Media Arts degree course operates within this field of tension. As the first genuine film degree course in Schleswig-Holstein, it was founded in autumn 2022 and covers a wide range of cinematic forms: Fictional and documentary formats, animations, advertising, and image films as well as free and experimental approaches all have their place here.
