Was macht mein Projekt besonders?

How to talk about a film that doesn’t exist yet while also creating enthusiasm for it among other people? During the multi-day workshop »Pitch, Please! — How to Pitch Your Project to an International Crowd«, participants from film academies will learn to clearly formulate their projects, instill interest and convincingly convey the essence of their ideas in a concise manner.
Between theory and practice, the workshop addresses key questions relating to pitching: How do I summarize my film in a single sentence? How do I spark curiosity? What makes my project special? And how do I convince potential partners of my vision?
The pitches developed in the workshop will be presented during the Film School Day. A jury of representatives from the film and media industry will listen to the pitches and subsequently provide targeted feedback on the presented projects.
The workshop is led by Norma Giannetta. She is a script coach and has worked on film projects such as Didi Contractor (2019) and Box (2024). She also leads pitch coaching sessions at the Winterthur International Short Film Festival and is president of Cinématte Bern.
Participation is only possible with prior registration.
