Suleima war von Beginn an an der syrischen Revolution beteiligt war. Nachdem sie zweimal verhaftet wurde, erklärt sie: »Lieber sterbe ich, als dass ich sehe, wie jemand festgenommen wird, ohne dass ich versucht habe zu helfen.«
Suleima was involved in the Syrian revolution from the very beginning. Having been detained twice, she declares: »I'd rather die than see someone arrested without trying to help.«
