In Mut Me Lule werden zwei Dörfer in zwei Ländern gegenübergestellt, in denen zwei Menschen leben: Großmutter mütterlicherseits und Großvater väterlicherseits reden viel, nur nicht miteinander. Das Einzige, was sie verbindet, sind ihre Kinder. Die filmische Arbeit ist ein sorgfältig kadrierter Blick auf unterschiedliche Lebensräume und stellt die Frage, wie alles so wurde, wie es ist.
In Mut Me Lule, two villages in two nations are contrasted with each other. Two people live here: the maternal grandmother and the paternal grandfather talk a lot, but not with each other. The only things that connect them are their children. The film is a carefully framed view of different living spaces and asks the question how everything came to be as it is.
