Meeresrauschen, ein gelber Plastikstab, eine Tüte im Wind, ein sandiger Tennisball zwischen den U-Bahntüren. Der Künstler Michael Heindl hat an der Küste Tansanias angespülte Abfallreste aufgesammelt und im Anschluss in Wien an ihre fiktiven Ausgangsorte zurückgetragen. Die Produkte haben ihren Ursprungswert und damit ihre Aufgabe verloren. Die Intervention gibt ihnen eine neue Bedeutung und unterbricht den Alltag. Es liegt eine Poesie im Nachleben.
The sound of the sea, a yellow plastic stick, a bag in the wind, a sandy tennis ball between the underground doors. The artist Michael Heindl collected rubbish washed up on the coast of Tanzania and then carried it back to its fictitious place of origin in Vienna. The products have lost their original value and with it their purpose. The intervention gives them a new meaning and interrupts everyday life. There is poetry in the afterlife.
