Winner of the Hamburg short film award: A Perm

With the announcement of the award winners the Hamburg International ShortFilmFestival takes the last steps in its 26th edition. Winner of the jury prize in the International Competition, the  Hamburg short film award, is A Perm, a south-korean fiction by Ran-hee Lee. The Oscar-award winner 2010 Logorama is also the favourite of the audience in the Interminational Competition.

The jury prize in the NoBudget Competition goes to the documentary Helmut’s House by Jessica Dickenson and also the audience in the NoBudget Competition voted for a documentary:  Arsy-Versy by Miro Remo.

The rally of the documentaries is continued by the award winners in the German Competition:  Holding Still by Florian Riegel was awarded with the jury prize and A Day and an Eternity by Anna Hepp with the audience award.

In the Hamburg ShortFilmNight also a documentary could prevail – but, is it actually a documentary? – Gleb’s Film by Christian Hornung.

And the audience in the Three-minute Quickie selected Latest News by Per Carleson in the competition with the topic “kitchen“.

After the awards ceremony juries, award winners, guests and the team will have a spectacular party in the festival club in the Fundbureau.

A little bit exhausted but happy the team claims to have experienced a wonderful festival. The summer in the city attracted crowds to the open airs and even the cinemas were better attended than last year. Many thanks to the visitors!
